Consent is freely chosen, informed and specific agreement that continues throughout an interaction.
A previous yes does not require a person to say yes again. Consent can change or be withdrawn, and no label, relationship or payment replaces an actual agreement.
People can discuss boundaries, expectations and ways to stop beforehand. Communication remains important during and after an experience.
